Modified on Mon, 19 Sep, 2022 at 10:59 AM

For employees who just received their SG Permanent Resident status, here's how to setup their CPF rate type:

1. Go to Staff Directory on the left sidebar

2. Navigate to selected employee, select Basic Info, then tap on GO

3. Click EDIT on the Employee Basic Info section

 4. Set the information below (Country of Nationality as well as Residency Status) and indicate their PR start date

5. Scroll down and click SAVE

6. Next, click EDIT on the Employee Payroll Info section

7. Scroll down until you find CPF Employee Rate Type, then select "Graduate Employee & Graduated Employer Rate" for employee who's in the first year

Note: No need to amend the CPF rate type every year, HReasily will auto calculate based on the PR start date indicated in the system.

8. Lastly, click SAVE to proceed.

Important Notes:

  • Graduated (Graduated Employer & Employee Rates)

Example: Year 1 SPR status CPF contribution is 4% (Employer; Partial) and 5% (Employee; Partial)
