Setting Up Your Malaysia-Based Company

Modified on Wed, 5 Mar at 10:48 AM

Just as how all business starts off by first registering with the local governing bodies, HReasily requires you to also first fill in all basic company incorporation info.

Let's get started right away!

Step 1: Enter Basic Company Information

1. Click on the Manage Company button found on the left panel and select Basic Info

2. Click on the EDIT button.

3. Fill in the required details and click SAVE.

Company Name: The officially registered name of your company.

Trading Name: This can be the same as the registered name or a different name used for your store or business operations.

Step 2: Configure Currency Settings (If Applicable)

If you pay employees in a different currency, you can add the relevant currency exchange rate here. Otherwise, you may skip this step.

Example:

  • 1 SGD = 0.742313 USD
  • Alternatively, select "Automatically Set" to refresh rates daily.

Step 3: Upload Your Company Logo

Click the Camera Icon to upload your company logo. For optimal display, set the width to 300px. The logo will appear on payslips.

Setting Up Company Payroll Information

Next, navigate to Company Payroll Info from the left menu or the tabs above.

Scroll to the Company Payroll Info section and click the EDIT button.

Select your preferred bank for salary payments. You can refer to the list of supported banks in HReasily.

Step 6: Configure Payroll & Payslip Settings

  • Days in a Month Type: Choose between Calendar Days or 26 Days.
