How to submit Form E? (C.P.8D Format)

Every employer and company is required to submit Form E to the Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN). Non-compliance can lead to actions being taken against the directors of the company. To ensure a complete filing, both the E form and the C.P.8D (Statement of Employees’ Remuneration and Deductions) must be submitted together. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to generate the necessary files in HReasily and submit them through the LHDN portal.

 


Generating the C.P.8D Text File in HReasily

1. Begin by navigating to the Manage Company section in the left sidebar of your dashboard.

 



2. Click on the Payroll tab.



3. Scroll down to the Year End Tax section and select the appropriate tax year for your filing.


4. Finally, click on GENERATE TXT FILE under Form E to create the necessary text file.

 

 

To keep a record of your submission, click on Generate PDF File to download the PDF version of Form E.


Submitting the C.P.8D File via the LHDN Portal


1. Visit the LHDN MyTax Portal at: https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/ and log in with your credentials.

 


2. From the Role Selection dropdown menu, choose Employer, then select your business or company name for the submission.


3. In the EzHasil Services menu, click on e-Data Praisi/e-C.P.8D to start the submission of your C.P.8D.


4. Under the e-C.P.8D section, click on Submission of C.P.8D.


5. Proceed to select Upload C.P.8D


6. Thenclick Upload and choose the file generated from HReasily. This will display the remuneration details of your employees for review.


7. After reviewing the details, click Confirm and Submit to proceed with the submission.


8. Once your C.P.8D submission is successful, you will receive a confirmation. You can print or download this confirmation by clicking on the Print Confirmation option.

9. After completing the C.P.8D submission, return to the EzHasil Services menu and select e-Filing. Then choose e-Form.


10. Scroll to find e-E and select the tax year for which you are filing.


11. Enter your Income Tax No. and click Proceed.


12. Fill in your company information and select Via e-Data Praisi / e-CP8D from the dropdown menu.

 


13. On the next page, indicate the number of employees and click Next.


14. Lastly, input your designation details and click Sign & Send to proceed. Enter your ID number along with your MyTax password to sign.

 

You will receive confirmation of your Form E submission, allowing you to download both the acknowledgment and the e-E.


Important Note: Remember to print the acknowledgment and e-E form for your records.


By following these steps, you will have successfully submitted your C.P.8D Form to LHDN.
