Glossary of Settings
Overtime
Time worked beyond normal working hours. You can choose how overtime is calculated:
- Count Overtime Based on Start and End Working Hours
- Tolerance Overtime (Start Working Hour):
Example: If a shift starts at 9:00am and tolerance is set to 15 minutes, overtime will only count before 8:45am. - Tolerance Overtime (End Working Hour):
Example: If a shift ends at 6:00pm and tolerance is set to 15 minutes, overtime will only count after 6:15pm.
- Tolerance Overtime (Start Working Hour):
- Count Overtime Based on Daily Working Hours
Example: If the daily working hours are 8 and tolerance is set to 15 minutes, overtime will only count once the employee works beyond 8 hours 15 minutes. - Count Overtime Based on Custom Settings
- Maximum Salary: Employees with a basic salary above the set maximum will be excluded from overtime calculations.
- Employment Statuses: Overtime will only apply to the selected employee groups.
Lateness
Time recorded when an employee arrives after their scheduled start time.
Example: If a shift starts at 9:00am and tolerance is set to 15 minutes, lateness will only be counted from 9:15am onwards.
Undertime
Time recorded when an employee leaves before completing their required working hours.
Example: If daily working hours are 8 and tolerance is set to 15 minutes, undertime will only count if the employee works fewer than 7 hours 45 minutes.
⚠️ Important Note: To ensure time attendance is calculated accurately, please make sure that all employee working schedules are set up correctly.
