When a former employee rejoins your company, it’s important to reactivate their profile while maintaining their previous employment records. This guide will walk you through the steps to update their profile efficiently.
1. On the left sidebar, select Staff Directory.
2. Scroll down to the Past Employee section. Use the search bar to find the employee who is rejoining the company.
3. Open the employee’s profile and navigate to the Payroll tab.
4. Scroll to the Current Employment section and click EDIT.
5. Update the employee’s status, enter the new join date in the Effective From field, and input the updated salary information under the Salary Details section.
6. Once the details are updated, click CREATE NEW RECORD. The employee will now appear in the active employee list.
By following these steps, the employee’s past employment records will remain intact, while the system will capture the new join date and updated employment details. This process ensures a seamless transition back into your company’s active staff list.
